About the Authors

Ryan Hawthorne is a barrister at Devereux Chambers specialising in revenue and employment law. He was previously a lecturer in the law of personal taxation at Kings College, London.

Jolyon Maugham is a barrister at Devereux Chambers specialising in all areas of tax law and has a wide experience of contested tax disputes in all tribunals, up to and including the Supreme Court. He is on the Attorney General’s ‘A’ panel of counsel.

Jonathan Peacock QC is a barrister at 11 New Square specialising in all areas of tax law (direct and indirect) and has a wide experience of contested tax disputes in all tribunals, up to and including the Supreme Court. He is the current chairman of the Revenue Bar Association.
